Alarm Code:
4. Cannot find limit position
Context where the error occurs:
When recording the current distance, a limit position was reached, but is now not found (with the safety margin included). This may be because a marker is missing, whereby forward / reverse operation does not reach its fixed position. When transporting the robot, no more attempts to reach the boundary position will be carried out (unlike the other markers, since a marker is detected before the next distance starts). In cases when a marker is missing, the washing robot must be placed in the correct place within the alarm, and then its washing pattern continues. A boundary position sensor must be found within approx. +/- 90 cm from the location where it was in the box type learning. If not found, the alarm is triggered. We recommend that the markers is placed at regular intervals in the stable +/- 5 cm.
It may also be due to a fault in limit switch located on the robot.
Solution:
- If markers are missing, the washing robot must be placed in the right place before the alarm is reset, and then its washing pattern will continue. A marker must be found within approx. +/- 90 cm from the location where it was in the box type learning. If not found, alarm is triggered. We recommend that the markers is placed at regular intervals in the stable +/- 5 cm.
- Check that the mechanical limit switch is intact.
