The pressure sensor is located on the downstream side of the water valve. It is used both to detect low pressure while high pressure is expected and to detect high pressure when no pressure is expected. This means that the robot itself can determine if the high pressure water supply is failing and in turn notify the operator. Consequently it can also detect if the water valve for some reason fails to close (for example due to obstructing dirt) and notify the operator in this case too.
The limit is loosely set to above respectively below 50 bar for 30 seconds.
