First marker not found within 500 pulses

This is a hard alarm.


No marker was detected when searching for the first marker during automatic cleaning, location creation or teach-in. The marker needs to be detected within about 1.2 meters from the starting position of the robot.


  • Check that the magnetic switch arm is in the correct position (both height and length)
  • Check that the marker is mounted properly
  • Check that the magnetic switch is working
  • Check that the robot was placed within 1 m from the first marker
  • Check that the distance from the magnetic switch to the marker is less than 10 cm
