Wheels stuck
This is a soft alarm. However, the alarm will be accompanied by a robot stuck alarm.
Description
The wheels motor has stuck in the given direction (forwards or backwards), i.e. no significant movement has been detected for a couple of seconds when the motor was expected to move. The motor is stuck due to a physical obstacle or other environmental changes.
Troubleshooting
- Check that the robot wheels have not run into an obstacle too high to overcome
- Check that the robot guidance wheels have not run into an protruding feature to large to overcome
- If the robot has got stock on the side opposite to the guidance wheels, it could be an indication of poor programming
- Check that the wheels motor is working
- Check that the marker sensor is working
- Check that hose reel trouble do not affect wheels
